As a student association, we are proud to look back on 10 years of 'studentfarming' experience! During these years, we did a lot: gardening, harvesting, going on excursions, inviting guest speakers and having a whole bunch of potlucks!
It's time to commemorate this during the 2026 Lustrum on the 30th & 31th of May! Time to remember WSF stories, share (recent) experiences and celebrate with Studentfarmers, family and friends! It's also the time to look forward: how can we make WSF even more enjoyable for the generations to come? Let's see which surprises the next 10 years will bring!

As the lunch on Saturday was a big success, we invite you enjoy our homemade lunch, again just for 3 euros!!! Keep in mind that the available amounts may be limited, so be quick!
Rose garden sponsoring 🌹

Help shaping our rose garden! In the last months, Niels did set up a beautiful rose pavilion made of willow branches: a place of contemplation and romance. However, he needs a lot of roses to make this idyllic place possible! We invite you to take with you a cutting of your dearest rosebush and plant it as a demonstration of your love towards the Studentfarm. Niels will be very happy with your help!

Access to The Field may be restricted ⚠️

On Wageningen Campus, some roads and cycle paths (yellow/blue lines) will be closed off due to the StudentenCup cycling competition. The Akkermaalbos road towards the Field (at the bottom of the image) is not closed off, but may be crowded. Use the parking at Droevendaalsesteeg.

You've probably walked past some venerable trees before, but did you ever wonder what they try to tell you through their appearance? Victor will show you the basics of 'tree-reading'. After a short introduction, we'll look at how these trees became what they are now.
Linder seedsaving 🌱
In a time where we are losing our genetic seed diversity, learn about saving your own seeds! You'll get loads of practical tips on how to become a seedsaver as well as some context of why we should make this effort.
Orchid excursion with Jeroen 🔎
Our orchid expert will guide you to the hidden gems of the campus. No picking allowed!
Career market 🎓 and lunch 🥪
Listen to old student farm members sharing their experiences in the work field after finishing their studies. Following a pitch round, you can continue the conversation during a WSF-provided lunch to share inspiration and discuss future career opportunities.
Excursion to the Nieuwe Ronde with Klaas 👨🌾
Visit one of the first self harvest CSA farms in Wageningen! Let Klaas show you how his farm integrates cultivation, self-harvest and collective decision-making.
Consultation with a Witch 🧙♀️
Need help with curses and spells? Want to know what the future holds? The student farm witch will aid you with your troubles, amongst the magical mushrooms (no, not those kind).

Get your hands in the soil! Help with weeding, planting and sowing, while easily socializing in the sun.

In a time where our food systems are under pressure like never before, where are we really standing in the shift towards agroecological practices— and what will it take to get there? We'll look at what's happening in the Netherlands, Europe and beyond: from cover crops to agroforestry, from policy pledges to what lands on your plate. Come with your questions, your experiences, and your ideas and join the conversation!

Yoga 🧘
After a long night of Irish dancing and moth watching, it's time to freshen up with some morning yoga, guided by Maddy! Bringing your own mat is advised. Soil workshop 🐜 Do you know which organisms are living in the Wageningen Student farm? And what are they doing? With this short activity/workshop we will interactively think about and discover the living soil below our feet! Inspringtheater 🎭 Participate at an interactive theatre session! Stichting Inspringtheater will stage a performance of "Theatre of the oppressed", where the audience is invited to recognise itself in a situation and discuss on how to change it. No experience is needed, just enthusiasm and open-mindedness. Weaving with grasses 🌾 Learn to braid a cord for a necklace or bracelet, or try your best at basket weaving! Lunchtime 🍞 Lunch will be provided but at a limited extent, so be quick! Mushroom talk 🍄 Omitting fungi from the Studentfarm would be discrimination, especially when they're so beautiful and yummy to eat! Pip Gilmore from Groene Takken has been been assisting WSF with their mushroom cultivation for many years. During this practical presentation Pip will explain the cultivation techniques needed for succesful production of shiitake mushrooms on logs. |

Ever wanted to have the WSF logo on your T-shirt? Dye your own clothing with inspiring pre-cut lino motives made by OtherWise! Bring a piece of clothing you want to personalise or you can print a patch of textile to sow it on your clothes afterwards.

If you feel like you need some rest from all these activities, just take a nice reading on agroecology or nature and discuss with people from Boerengroep.

Follow the evolution of WSF throughout the years and the activities: from the founding to the Field, from paper-making to excursions, all is displayed and documented. Take this opportunity to admire the student-made art and handcraft, whether ancient or not!

And now up to you! You've heard, learned, seen, touched, smelled, tasted enough of the Farm to know what your ideal Studentfarm would look like. How do you imagine WSF in, say, 100 years? Write, draw, paint as much as you wish and we will put all these creative ideas together in a Gesamtkunstwerk. We will display it to ceremonially close off this Lustrum and mark a new beginning... Who knows which wildest dreams will become true ?
