Sustainable farming in a community setting |
Welcome to Wageningen Student Farm !
Wageningen Student Farm is a platform for students passionate about sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to offer an opportunity for students to bring their knowledge of organic farming and biobasd-production of all forms into practice, all the while sharing and spreading enthusiasm and engagement. For this purpose, we facilitate many projects and gatherings off and on our field. This flourishing little oasis is on the Wageningen University campus, right between Aurora and the Dijkgraaf stairflat building. Here, we grow vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, flowers, build things (like a Dome!) and most importantly: we have fun together and enjoy a very friendly and gezellig atmosphere. If this sounds like something you want to be part of, come by and get to know us at one of our events for all kinds of different workshops, planning sessions or fun activities. In spring-summer, we meet at the field (Akkermaalsbos 2) at 17.30 to garden and eat every Thursday. To see the location in a map check contact. If you wish to join, please use the contact form. Let’s grow together! |
Becoming a Member
You can become a member simply by showing up at one of our Thursday Working Sessions to see if WSF is for you! If so, then fill in a subscription form by clicking the button below (make sure to read the House Rules before becoming a member). Once you’ve paid the subscription fee, you can join the WSF WhatsApp groups app, get the weekly newsletters and be officially a WSF member!
The subscription fee is €15 for one academic year. If you join WSF during the academic year, you pay the discounted subscription fee for the reminder of the year that you will be a member for (so if you join in February, you only pay the subscription fee for February-September, not the full academic year). Some activities that are organized require a small contribution, but this will always be communicated when this is the case.
